Welcome to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. KLIA Terminal 2 (formerly known as klia2) is located 45 kilometres (28 miles) south of downtown Kuala Lumpur. Completed in 2013, the airport replaced the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), which had acted as a home for AirAsia and other low-cost carriers for several years. Today, the airport handles 60 million passengers per year, 35 million of which are handled by this terminal.
While at terminal 2, be prepared to shop and eat before you’ve even left or entered the airport. Gateway@klia2 features dozens of shops and eateries available to both travelling passengers and non-travelling visitors.

Options for getting to the airport include the KLIA Ekspres, KLIA Transit, Grab cars, taxis and busses.
Easy connections are available to Kuala Lumpur, TBS bus station, Putrajaya, Seremban and Nilai KTM train station.
Shop at duty free, watch a movie, do some plane spotting, try Malaysian food or get some rest at a transit hotel.
