Travellers flying out of klia2 have a number of transport options to reach the airport. These vary with your budget and where you’re coming from.
Ride Sharing is legal in Malaysia. Ride sharing apps may be downloaded from their website or the store on your phone. ** Please note that this site is not endorsing any operator mentioned here. KLIA Ekspres, KLIA Transit
Fast electric train from Kuala Lumpur Central Station (KL Sentral)
Service is provided by Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL)
- KLIA Ekspres Counter and departure is opposite the KL Sentral Airport check-in counters
- At the South end of KL Sentral
- When facing the steps/escalator up to Nu Sentral, turn right
- KLIA Transit Counter and departure is in the main Concourse at the southern end
- When facing the steps/escalator up to Nu Sentral, the counter is on your left
Two types of trains available (fare to KL Sentral is the same for both)

- Direct to KLIA, then on to klia2
- Journey takes 33 mins, including the stop at KLIA
- Every 15 minutes during peak hours

Private & Rental Cars and Ride Share Cars
- Private and ride-share car drop-off is on Level 3.
- Keep left as you approach the airport and follow the signs.
- Use this drop off if parking is not required.
- This is the quickest access to the check-in area as you avoid most of the shops.
- If you or your driver wish to park, follow the signs to Parking on the Arrival Level.
- There are two Carparks A & B, either side of the concourse.
- Parking access:
- Touch & Go prepaid card or
- by taking a token, which must be paid at at a parking kiosk before exit.
- If you are returning a rental car, keep right towards Arrivals and follow the signs on your right.
- Ride share services are legal in Malaysia. Download their apps from their website or your Android or iPhone.
- Grab, Riding Pink (By women, for women), are two of those available
- Please note that Uber does not operate in Malaysia.
- Uber holds an interest in Grab Malaysia.

- Exit the door to the right beside the stairs/escalator up to Nu Sentral
