Batik Air Malaysia, formerly Malindo Air, is based in Kuala Lumpur and operates dozens of flights around the Southeast Asia region, the Indian subcontinent and Australia. The airline operates a large fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, including the latest Boeing 737 MAX series aircraft. Batik Air Malaysia and its Indonesia sister airline Batik Air, are members of the Lion Air Group. It was set up in 2012 with flights commencing in 2013.
They fly out of Kuala Lumpur’s KLIA Terminal 1.
